Number of Complex Eigenvalues for a Class of Dissipative Schrödinger Operators
For a class of dissipative Schrödinger operators H = −∆ + V (x) with a complex-valued potential V = V1−iV2 with V2 ≥ 0 and |V (x)| = O(|x| ) as |x| tends to infinity, we prove that the complex eigenvalues of H can not accumulate to zero. In the perturbation regime where V2 is sufficiently small, we show under some conditions that N(V ) = N(V1)+k, where k is the multiplicity of the zero resonanc...
متن کاملBoundary control for a class of dissipative differential operators including diffusion systems
In this paper we study a class of partial differential equations (PDE’s), which includes SturmLiouville systems and diffusion equations. From this class of PDE’s we define systems with control and observation through the boundary of the spatial domain. That is, we describe how to select boundary conditions, such that the resulting system has inputs and outputs acting through the boundary. Furth...
متن کاملA Class of compact operators on homogeneous spaces
Let $varpi$ be a representation of the homogeneous space $G/H$, where $G$ be a locally compact group and $H$ be a compact subgroup of $G$. For an admissible wavelet $zeta$ for $varpi$ and $psi in L^p(G/H), 1leq p <infty$, we determine a class of bounded compact operators which are related to continuous wavelet transforms on homogeneous spaces and they are called localization operators.
متن کاملSandwich-type theorems for a class of integral operators with special properties
In the present paper, we prove subordination, superordination and sandwich-type properties of a certain integral operators for univalent functions on open unit disc, moreover the special behavior of this class is investigated.
متن کاملOn surjectivity of some classes of generalized monotone operators
We present results for the existence of solutions for variational inequalities given by generalized monotone operators. As a consequence we establish surjectivity, and we obtain, in particular, results for the existence of zeroes of some class of set-valued operators. Furthermore, by strengthening the continuity assumption on the operator, we deduce its surjectivity without any monotonicity ass...
